DIRECTIONS FROM SYDNEY AND NEWCASTLE

From Sydney take the freeway North. Continue right to the end of the freeway and turn right at the roundabout with the sign Taree right. Follow that road across the overpass and you will veer left onto the New England Highway.

You will then see the sign Taree left over the Hexham Bridge. Take the left turn here and proceed on the Pacific Highway. You will then see a sign to Raymond Terrace on the Pacific Highway. Follow the Pacific Highway to the Raymond Terrace McDonald's. At McDonald's you will see the sign Dungog left, turn left and follow the road through Seaham and Clarencetown and all the way to Dungog.

When you come into Dungog, go through the town centre and you will come to a concrete memorial in the middle of the road. Turn left at the memorial the sign says Chichester Dam left. Veer right at the top of the hill at the Caltex service station (The Caltex Service Station is the last stop for petrol) to Chichester Dam.

Continue straight ahead on this road for 20 kilometres.

DO NOT TURN LEFT AT THE SALISBURY ROAD TURN OFF.

We are situated on the left hand side of the road, just below the Chichester Dam. The restaurant/reception is on the main road and this is where you need to check in. We look forward to seeing you when you arrive, happy driving.

CAUTION

When you are approximately 3 kms from the Retreat you will cross a single lane wood bridge. We suggest you slow down considerably at this point as there is an abundance of wildlife on the side of the road.
