We encourage the children to participate feeding the birds in the morning and help feed the wildlife at dusk.
If you wish may be the older children can go on an escorted horse ride. The horses are personally selected to suit the age and experience of the person riding. After returning, the children can see how the horses are washed and groomed.
What about spending family time exploring some of famous sites in the Barrington Tops? Take a bush trail walk or check out the creek…it’s your choice.
If Mum and Dad need a break from cooking the family can join us in our restaurant, with childrens’ meals provided. Prefer cooking family meals yourselves….no problems. Either way, Barrington Country Retreat is perfect for a family holiday.
Bookings for 1-2 persons are welcome. However, due to their size and ability to accommodate more than 2 persons, if the following cabins or lodges are booked for only 1 or 2 persons, an additional cleaning fee applies.
